Third Thursday guests on the patio of Gallery 1. Photo: Israel Valencia

Join us on the Third Thursday of the month for drinks, small bites, music, and art-related activities. Drop-ins welcome!
This month we welcome special guest Kevin Killian, author, poet, and co-curator of There’s a Dark Secret in Me: Precarity, Exposure, Camouflage, a presentation of works from di Rosa’s permanent collection, organized with his partner Dodie Bellamy, on the topic of surveillance for Be Not Still: Living in Uncertain Times. Killian will be reading his poetry and speaking about the works on view in Gallery 1, including how an installation by Colter Jacobsen is central to the exhibition.
Visitors will be able to view Gallery 1, have their face painted with anti-surveillance patterns to avoid face-recognition technology, and enjoy refreshments and small bites. Singer-songwriter Zak Fennie and Napa Valley’s Jealous Zelig will be performing live sets to round out the casual Thursday evening event.
$5 general / Free for members / all ages welcome
