The Olive Grove
July 2024 – March 2, 2025

Hawks and Doves by Philip Krohn and AUXART is a site-specific sculptural installation taking shape in di Rosa’s Olive Grove and Sculpture Meadow. Installation and fabrication began on site in early July and will continue to evolve through the summer, completing fabrication in early September and remaining on view through March 2, 2025.

Hawks and Doves explores concepts of flight lines, points of view, separation and intersection, and rhythm and resolution. Extending over 150 yards, and weaving through and between trees and brush, the work cannot be seen in one piece. It is instead experienced as a passage through time and movement through space.
